De verdeling van Palestina in 1947, die gestaag toewerkt naar de complete annexatie ervan door één van de twee partijen, is afgedwongen door Zionisten en hun medestanders. De verdeling was in de eerste instantie al in strijd met de geest van het Handvest van de nieuwe VN (Ardi Imseis, The United Nations and the Question of Palestine. Rule by Law and the Structure of International Legal Subalternity, Cambridge Univ. Pr. 2025, p. 59 inz.) Deze “partitie” ging voorbij aan de verplichting krachtens het Handvest om gehoor te geven aan de stem van de meerderheid van de inheemse bevolking (e.g. “zelfbeschikkingsrecht der volkeren”). De Zionistische minderheid kreeg evenwel zijn zin. Nederland was een van de landen die, met al die andere koloniale machten, vóór de (ongelijke) verdeling waren. De Zionisten hebben hun onredelijke eis van de exclusiviteit van een Joodse staat door weten te drukken met onder meer terroristische acties (zie bijvoorbeeld aangehecht bericht, “De Veroordeelde Terroristen. Irgoen verschaft zich gijzelaars”, Gazet van Limburg, 16 juli 1947). Hierover kunt u uitgebreid lezen inmiddels, bijvoorbeeld, Thomas Suárez, Palestine Hijacked. Zo hadden de Zionistische terroristen van Irgun in 1946 bijvoorbeeld het King David Hotel in Jerusalem op 22 Juli 1946 met een bom opgeblazen, met 91 slachtoffers tot gevolg, omdat daar het bestuurlijk hoofdkwartier van het Britse gezag was gevestigd (Palestina was toen nog een Mandaat krachtens artikel 22 van het Convenant van de Volkenbond). Zionistische terroristen van de Sterngroep zouden op 17 september 1948 zelfs de Zweedse VN onderhandelaar Graaf Bernadotte in Jeruzalem vermoorden, waarmee de Zionisten plotseling een gewelddadig eind maakten aan een eerder door Bernadotte met moeite bereikte wapenstilstand tussen de partijen die streden tengevolge van de vermaledijde Partitie. Die wapenstilstand was dan ook een farce ––– Waar doet dat ons toch aan denken?

P.S. Merk op, bij het lezen van aangehecht artikel uit de Gazet van Limburg, dat de Irgun óók tégen de Partitie waren, maar wel om een heel andere reden dan die van de Palestijnen met een Arabische culturele identiteit. De eenheidsstaat zoals die werd voorgestaan door de Zionistische Terroristen namelijk, en waarvan sprake is in aangehecht artikel van de Gazet van Limburg, was niet gebaseerd op de wil van de meerderheid van de inheemse bevolking. De Zionisten eisten geheel Palestina op voor de vestiging van een Joodse staat, ook al vormden de Joden met 32% een minderheid, een minderheid die ook nog eens recentelijk was aangezwollen door de massale toestroom, actief bevorderd door (pro-)Zionisten, van immigranten in de eerste helft van de twintigste eeuw. –– in 1914 bestond het Joodse aandeel nog geen 10%.

Nog een stukje tekst uit die tijd, dit keer uit het Nieuw Israëlietisch Weekblad van 22 augustus 1947: “In de afgelopen week zijn bij het treffen tussen Joden en Arabieren 12 Joden en 20 Arabieren gedood en 30 Joden en 49 Arabieren gewond. Het begon [beweert het NIW] met een aanval van Arabieren op een Joods café in Tel- Aviv en sedertdien hebben aan de grens Tel- Aviv—Jaffa voortdurend schermutselingen plaats gevonden. Daar de regering [= de Mandataris, Great Britain] bleek nu niet snel te kunnen optreden, heeft de Haganah [=de illegale militie waar later het zogenaamde IDF uit zou ontstaan] de schuldige Arabieren gestraft en hun huis opgeblazen. [Dat was een beproefd vergeldingsmiddel van de Britten] Hoewel zij gewaarschuwd had en op evacuatie had aangedrongen, bleken toch een vrouw en kinderen mede het slachtoffer te zijn geworden.” Dit komt ons ook bekend voor…

“This report centers the case studies of the 141 Palestinian children killed by Israeli forces and settlers in the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, between October 7, 2023, and July 31, 2024, collected by Defense for Children International – Palestine (DCIP) field researchers. On average, Israeli forces have killed a Palestinian child in the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, every two days since October 7, 2023. Most of the children were killed with live ammunition, usually a single bullet to the head or torso. Some were shot in the back, indicating they were turned away from Israeli soldiers. Some were participating in confrontations between Israeli forces and Palestinian residents of communities in the occupied West Bank, while others were simply going about their daily lives: sitting in a car with her mother, on his way home from school, or in one case, standing inside his own house. […] Not a single Israeli soldier has been held accountable for killing any of the Palestinian children included in this report despite widespread and systematic evidence of unlawful killings.”

Om toch nog maar even aan te geven waarom het NIET misplaatst was van pro-Palestina demonstranten om te protesteren tegen het Israelische geweld op de Dam op Internationale Vrouwendag van afgelopen 8 maart. En om te demonstreren hoe het lot van internationaal recht op dergelijke gelegenheden ALTIJD pertinent is.

Maar goed, de Israelische criminelen verkrachten en martelen ook mannen van alle leeftijden. “The Commission documented cases of rape and sexual assault of male detainees, including the use of an electrical probe to cause burns to the anus, and the insertion of objects, such as fingers, sticks, broomsticks and vegetables, into the anus and rectum.” (p. 27, met veel meer voorbeelden).

Een aparte sectie (VII; doch zie ook sectie X.E) rapporteert over seksueel geweld dat gepleegd is (of waarmee gedreigd is) door kolonisten al dan niet in combinatie met legerpersoneel (hetgeen is Israel overigens een betekenisloos onderscheid is).

De bespreking van gerapporteerde gevallen gaat vele pagina’s door, tot we bij de conclusie komen. Daarin wordt een duidelijk verband gelegd met het complex aan eigenschappen dat in samengestelde vorm neerkomt op GENOCIDE. Lees bijvoorbeeld deze conclusie: “The Commission’s findings demonstrate a clear pattern of members of the ISF and settlers committing sexual and gender-based crimes aimed at instilling fear [=TERRORISME] with the underlying intention to perpetuate Palestinian subordination and remove Palestinians from their land. [=ETHNIC CLEANSING] The Commission therefore concludes that sexual and gender-based violence was intended not only to humiliate, punish and intimidate the individual Palestinians but the civilian population as a whole, with the objective to subordinate, destroy [=GENOCIDE] and expel the Palestinian community.” (p. 47).

As in demanding the purchase of Greenland? As in abusing the instrument of “sanctioning” to promote their own interests (Venezuela, Iran)? As in frustrating the promise of international law by dominating the Security Council with their veto? As in propping up right-wing dictatorial regimes in South and Central America, in the MENA Region, in South-East Asia, as well as in Europe (e.g. Francoist Spain), either in secret or with the purported excuse of “promoting democracy”? As in operating 128+ military bases outside their own territory across the world?
